This section is the Venus Archival Philosophy Center. It will include notes on philosophical concepts, periods, major philosophers, criticisms, and my personal opinions on various things.

Why Philosophy?

Personally, I find philosophy incredibly valuable to our world. It is drastically understudied in my opinion, and I think many people overlook the value of thinking about the "why"s of the world. Philosophy is endlessly enjoyable to me, and I've decided to dedicate a section of my site to it.

I am not entirely self-learned when it comes to philosophy. My philosophy background began with International Baccalaureate Philosophy HL, a two year advanced course I took in high school. It was immediately my favorite class. Because of this, the ethics and religion sections will probably fill out first, and have lots of notes from this class.
